What People are Saying: Past Workshops & Letters

Letters from seminar attendees : “After attending Michaela’s ‘Waking Up Your Garden’ seminar at Walker Farm in Dummerston, VT, this spring, I am convinced that she is one of Southern Vermont’s quiet treasures.  Her sense of beauty, borne from years of both working in the earth and from astutely observing it for creating her striking landscape paintings, is simply unpretentious gorgeousness. If one was ever lucky enough to have one of her gardens created on their own property, well I think that would be the ultimate.  Until then, be sure to check out her seminars.  Her style is impressively gentle, organic, pragmatic and knowledgeable.”  –Susan Carbin-Hardee, West Chesterfield, NH “I thoroughly enjoyed the seminar and your delightful blog !  Thanks so much for the info.  I do have more confidence now to clean up some of my shrubs” -L. Nussbaum “The members of the Brattleboro Floral Arts and Garden Club thank you for your expertise – your excellent and informative program about the basics of spring pruning and early spring gardening: preparing your garden for the season ahead !  It was soup to nuts, highly informative and well received.  We appreciate your time and experience, and especially your lecture outlines.  We learned a lot !  Thank you for your energy and enthusiasm !  All of us should produce better gardens this year and in the future!” –Francis Gibson for the Brattleboro Floral Arts and Garden Club “The Brattleboro Floral Arts and Garden Club would like to thank you for your excellent suggestions for waking up our winter weary gardens.  We all enjoyed your presentation and will try and put as much as we can to good use !” –Grace Amidon, Secretary, Brattleboro Floral Arts and Garden Club
