“Bibi Maizoon” Wow, what a great name! Is her colour truly this eye-wateringly vivid (or is this the same trouble I have with my iPhone camera – some things [pinks and reds, mostly]: just will NOT come true (compared to what I see, at least; )
Hi Deb, Bibi is a very deep rose-pink, but this is an iPhone photo and that does throw the red balance a bit. If you put Bibi Maizoon in the search box (at top), you will locate some older (Canon), photos and a plant feature, with better color-accuracy. What attracts me to this rose is the fragrance (outrageous and spicy), deep color and the old, cabbage rose form. It is also quite hardy here, though I do protect the base with a pile of compost! x M
